Unfortunately, it falls on our shop! My neighbor Bobby was in charge of dropping it to the left. As you can see, it went to the right! UGH!!! The shop is a steel frame building so the damage wasn't too bad all things considered. 2/23/08
Daniel, Allison, and I took part in the latest church play at our Valentine's banquet. It was a comedy about three bank robbers (former Bible salesmen) in the 1930 who were not capable of emulating Bonnie and Clyde. Daniel played a boy named Stump who was kidnapped by the bank robbers as a last resort because they did such a poor job of robbing banks. The problem was that Stump's step-dad didn't like him and hardly wanted him back. I played a patron in the diner and had one line, Allison played a bank teller. Allison also had one line. Daniel had about ten lines and did a great job. There are no pictures of me as I was the photographer during the dress rehearsal.
Matthew and his Dad (me) went to Miami to see baby Brady and to celebrate Matthew's 13th Birthday. A couple of pictures are inserted below; Matthew and Brady and Uncle Matt and Brady. The trip occurred in late January 2008. We'll have to post more pictures later.
The boys (all three of us) rode the "7" train to Queens to see the Mets play in Shea Stadium. The Mets won 3-1. The Mets have a new stadium under construction right next to Shea. It was cool to see Citi Field, which will open in 2009. We had great seats on the Mezzanine Level directly behind home plate.
We ran down to the Seaport to buy 1/2 price tickets to a Broadway show at the Ticket Development Center on Friday morning. We got seat to the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. We saw it Friday night at the Circle in the Square Theater on Broadway. After the show we walked back to the hotel through Times Square.
I am a Christian. I believe every person has a unique God given ability to excel and make a difference in this world. And, by the way, it feels great to be saved.
I am married to Allison and I am the father of two boys, Matthew and Daniel. Check out our family blog noted in my profile.
